Who We Are

We provide a selection of all the normal items you would expect for find in a community bookstore, plus a resource for teaching aids to area teachers.

Our regional books provide a rich history of our surrounding area and a source for local authors to reach their audiences.

Service sets us apart from the mega bookstores found in larger cities.

Special attention to every sale, gift wrapping, gift cards, special orders and special requests, establishes us as a unique place to be.

Our Location

Hearthside Books started operations in the spring of 1993. Located in southern West Virginia, in a town known as Bluefield; the "Air Conditioned City".

We serve southern West Virginia and south western Virginia although all are equally welcome.
